Fuschia fun for Friday flowers

It was windy and dull when I took these images in my backyard yesterday.

All these lovely fuschias grew from cuttings from my sister's garden.

They will always remind me of my Nan (Mum's mother) who grew them in her garden.
I used to love popping the unopened blooms, like most children do and in fact, I still do :)
These pics are a little blurry but I like the lush, fresh feel of them.

So I hope you all have a fun Friday.
ps my apologies for my complete and utter blogging slackness and while I'm at it, my lack of actual renovation posts on this-here-so-called renovation blog. I really hope I can rectify that in the next few weeks with some lovely plumbing improvements. Of course it wont be anything pretty, in fact I'm expecting lots of ugliness, but hey, we'll see what happens. I assume that now I have even mentioned it, it may well take much longer! Ugghhh!
Have a great weekend bloggies.

Fuschias for Friday

The other day my sister and I took a few fuschia cuttings for the garden out in my back yard. They were growing over her side fences (or maybe we were leaning over her side fences at the time....??).
I never did get many bulbs planted last week but did get these cuttings in and potted up my herbs finally so they look nice and neat out the front. I might aim to do some bulbs next week!
Here's to a good weekend to you all :)
