Despite the horrendous weather, there are new signs of growth in the garden. My rocket is emerging in between the broad beans and peas down in the vegie patch and my nectarine is out in blossom.
The fruit is the tastiest I have had. Nothing from the supermarket compares.
Horrrendous is the right word for the weather! It's driving me crazy! But at least the rain is good for the garden, those nectarines will be so good in summer, there truely is nothing better than home grown produce.
ReplyDeleteMmmm... I love nectarines! We grow lemons and mandarins but I'd much rather some stone fruit!
