I couldn't get pesky blogger to upload photos yesterday so here are my flowers for Friday on Saturday! These are my pansies from the front garden. I've always loved pansies - they're like happy little faces.
The one above is massive - as big as my palm!
The ones above are cute as they've got sweet little whiskers.
A lovely miniature yellow rose has snuck into the picy above.
I did sneak off to the hardware stores today to check out plants and came home with a few herbs, a pretty clematis and a new blue pansy!
We got a load of mulch so I have been a busy bee weeding and mulching the whole yard. Photos to come. Hope you are all having a nice weekend too xx
Beautiful flowers! Pansies have so much character I think... all the different colour combinations are so pretty. I love that plain, bright yellow, and the dark purple is amazing... they look like they really love being in your garden!

Oooh yes! Love pansies..and they're edible too..Rachaelxx
ReplyDeletei had to laugh, i was thinking of exactly that same header - great minds. Blogger was a pest yesterday, everywhere so it seems. All your flowers are lovely, you're going to bee busy all right. k.
ReplyDeleteI love pansies too. Maybe because they are the first to be sold in the spring when I am so desperate for color, or maybe because they are so simple and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the size of that one in your hand-huge!
The picture of the yellow pansies is so pretty.
We have a beautiful start to the fall weekend here in Boston. Hope you enjoy your spring weekend.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE pansies and violas, they are so pretty and forgiving too;) I have some in a large urn in our front yard and they always make me smile. Yours are beautiful, Sarah:) ~ Tina xx
ReplyDeletethey're so pretty!!
ReplyDeletePansies and violas are some of my favourite flowers too - such happy sunny blooms. I used to love pressing these flowers as a little girl and making cards with them. I love that deep purple almost black flower. We had a big spend up at the nursery on the weekend too buying some flowers and vegetables to plant in our new patch.
ReplyDeleteI love those pale white/creamy ones, they are so pretty Sarah! By the way I am very impressed with your cafe deduction skills, it was citrus moon, i hadn't been there before, it was nice. I hope you had a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteThey look so lovely. What a gorgeous range of colours you have in your garden. I hope you got lots of gardening done on the weekend:)
ReplyDeleteI so love pansies too, but I didn´t sow them this year... and yes, my roses are all growing well, except from some new ones I have planted and all of them, 5, died.. I´ve tried a new nursery and think they were not good ones... I cried but it´s over now.
ReplyDeleteI hope we will share our blooms soon, mine will be ready, as most of the years, oct. 31st.
