Christmas inspiration

I treated myself to the new Inside Out Christmas edition. It has lots of beautiful ideas - hopefully I can try a few if I can find the time before Christmas.

Ideas for pretty wrapping

Gorgeous blooms

Yummy cooking.
There used to be a time where I resented seeing Christmassy things in the shops at the end of October, but now that I have a house to decorate I'm happy to see all the nice decorations and so on in the shops. I have a couple of ideas from last year that I didn't get finished, so maybe this year?
Do you all have plans to make things?

  1. I've done no Christmas shopping and I haven't even thought of plans. Very scary! I better get into gear before it's too late.

  6. I think all my loved ones are going to be absent this Christmas so I'm not sure I'll be doing the decorating thing this year. Lots of time for reading instead :)

  7. I'm such a Christmas decorating slacker! Although I love Christmas with just Luke and myself in the house it kinda feels like a wasted effort. Will have to change that this year.

  8. Okay you've just highlighted how unorganised I am... must get cracking. I think I'm waiting for December. I seem to work well under the pressure. (Any justification I will use for my laziness). :) xx

  11. You know, I really missed the abundance of gorgeous interiors in this issue. I just found it OVERTLY....crafty. Bear in mind, I don't have a "crafty" bone in my body!
    Is it just me??

  15. Looks like a great issue. I'll look forward to seeing what you make. I have a huge 'to make' folder saved on my computer with a 'Christmas' file so might have a look through there and see what I can get started on for this year :)
