Some pics of flowers blooming in my garden.
Above is David Austin's Strawberry Hills with a purple/blue larkspur.
Above is a mystery David Austin rose. It was supposed to be a very dark red but it's hot pink. I don't mind so much as it's so pretty.
One of my old favourites called Angel Face, a beautiful ruffly mauve rose.
Pink larkspur amongst the roses.
My French rose, Florence Delattre which is a greyish mauve and while I had read on the internet that it doesn't do well, my little plant is flowering like crazy. It must be happy.
A new pink lupin.
And of course, some pansies. You can't go too far without seeing pansies in my garden :)
Happy Friday bloggies xx
ps Pics taken with the Plastic Bullet and Instagram app on my litle itouch doodad :)

ReplyDeleteLove them all. I can imagine putting some of those Florence Delattre next to pink roses would be beautiful in a vase. I've never seen that grey-mauve colour before. Yours are clearly thriving! x

ReplyDeleteOh my... your garden looks divine... so beautiful... you must have very green fingers. I just love lupines... I tried to grow some this year, but we had a water ban and I managed to lose them before them came into bloom. I'm hoping they'll be back again next spring. Have a great weekend. Lx
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting from A Place For Tea. Beautiful flowers! So nice to see some lovely blooming things. My roses are all sleeping! You have some lovely choices in your garden.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is phenomenal, Sarah! Love those David Austin roses! xx
ReplyDeleteI love pansies!! Was searching for some recently for some pots on our patio but was told is the wrong time to find them in nurseries as it's too hot here.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so great Sarah, this must be one of the most prolific springs we've had in a long time, I know this because my eyes have been itchy for weeks : ) but it is so beautiful. I love your photographs too.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah,
ReplyDeleteI have finally been able to become a follower of yours. For a long time I thought you didn't have a blog because nothing happened when I clicked your avatar. And then, when I discovered your blog there was no 'follow' icon. However, there is one today so here I am.
Your garden and puppy pictures are lovely. Fancy your Molly creating the same designer look in chairs as Sunny. Of course non dog lovers would be horrified but we just take these things in our stride because our beautiful girls and boys give us back far more than they take. I had to laugh at 35kg Molly liking a nurse. I hope she doesn't have sharp elbows!
I really enjoyed looking at the pictures of pets on furniture and thought your Molly was the cutest. You really need to get her a bigger chair though!
