Like many of you out there in blogland, I have long admired the goodies at Anthropologie. As the Aussies amongst us know, there is no store in Australia. Well, I finally took the plunge and bought myself a couple of goodies online recently.
I bought this wonderfully colourful sheet set. I realise it is probably too over the top for the minimalists out there, but I love the fabric and pattern. I decided it was too pretty to cover up with a doona, so I turned the top sheet into a doona cover!
Molly really liked it when I layed it out on the floor. I thought the crazy pattern would also be good at hiding the paw prints that regularly appear on our bed.
Below is the doona and sheets on our bed. And wouldn't you know I caught a naughty, somewhat wet pooch (Molly) up there having come home from paddling in the nearby creek!
And because I could I added this super cute ceramic punnet thingy in with my order. Pretty no?
Needless to say, I have the Anthro bug. I can't wait to do a spot of shopping there again, one day in person!
Are you an Anthro fan? What goodies have you bought from there?
xx
ps NOT a sponsored post :)
Love the sheets and pillowcases, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan too, although have yet to buy anything!
Gill xx
I love those sheets. I've never bought from Anthro. But I did see a funky pencil skirt yesterday in my reader which was Anthro. Expensive? How's postage? It's nice when parcels arrive in the post, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThe postage was reasonable, less than what it used to be when they first shipped internationally. Cheap if you go in with a friend too.
DeleteI find some of the things there are very reasonable (the punnet was $14) and others quite pricey. The sheets weren't cheap $140something?, but they were 25% off, so I had to do it. The quality is very good, so I'm happy.
Oh Molly! She has a good eye for lovely sheets!
ReplyDeleteI resist the urge to look on the Anthro website, too much temptation. I will ask Bel to look there for me when she visits NYC in December. Lucky girl ! x
Your sheets are beautiful, I bought some embroidered tea towels and some lovely plates from Anthropologie. I carried the plates home on the plane, only to have one broken because it was being used as a jump for some cars. Its glued back together now, and you would never know. It was a very emotional experience coming across that store, and security was very high, I couldnt take any pics.x
ReplyDeleteI love your sheets and strawberry punnet. I've been lucky enough to visit a couple of Anhtropologie stores, but never actually bought anything. Love their window displays.
ReplyDeleteI've never really looked at Anthropology but I probably should hey? Those sheets are lovely, and Madam Molly looks right at home on them too. Gorgeous gal! x
ReplyDeleteWell, I have never heard of this shop, but I do now, and just spent 45 mins getting lost in it. Not sure if I should be grateful to you for sharing this online mecca or not ;-)
ReplyDeleteAND I've just ordered a present for my friend from Anthropology. Oh dear!
ReplyDeleteOh whoops :) Your friend will be so happy though!
DeleteLove those sheets !! love Molly....and you...xxx...

ReplyDeleteLove the Anthropologie site, SO many goodies. your sheets/doona look lovely and that punnet is something that I've been eyeing off for some time now... I think you may have convinced me to click 'buy' :) Are you happy with it? Does it have a 'texture' to the ceramic?
