I bought these single stocks and mini carnations at the local Farmer's Market last weekend. There's hardly anything blooming in my garden at the moment so these were a nice treat. I'm really enjoying the shadows in this image too.
I'm counting down the days until I purchase my new laptop. I've been window shopping and am now waiting for the inevitable mid-year sales to make my purchase. I am convinced that when this happens I'm going to become a much more active blogger, that's the plan anyway.
Do you know I am 40 years old and have never owned my very own computer? Yep. Exciting. I'm going for a PC as that's what I am most used to. I know you Mac peeps love your computers but it has been 20 years since I've used one. Anyway, not too long now!
Happy Friday!
xx
Great image Sarah! The shadows are amazing. I'm like you - not a lot in the garden at the moment. Can't wait until the camellias start to bloom. I know some of the early ones are out, but mine are still a long way off.
ReplyDeleteNew laptop. How very very exciting! Let's hope those sales start soon, and have some extra special bargains with your name on them. xx
New computer, how exciting... I may or may not have just acquired an iPad. Naughty me, really don't need one.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers yet again. Have a good weekend, hope the Hobart weather is kind. And if it isn't enjoy the DVDs and op shops.
VERY EXCITING Sarah!!! A new computer will be wonderful for you.
ReplyDeleteI love my new one, although it's a desk top rather than laptop...but it's shiny and fast and i love it.
have a great weekend!

Oh Sarah, do try to make the switch and go for a Mac, after the initiation troubles i had i can say now i wouldn't ever go back again. Freezing cold and very windy here today, any flowers have been blown away. Brrrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteThat is very exciting for you Sarah! I bought a new ultrabook from Dell when I finished at the Bank and I just love it. It is so light and portable but still has a great size screen and the best thing is the battery lasts at least 6 hours even with connecting to the internet. It is perfect for my board meetings etc. <3
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend. xx
Oh Sarah, you funny girl. You know I *get* what you're saying. Although I must admit, the plaudits all seem to be flowing the Mac's way...J x
ReplyDeleteOh, you should come here. With this economy crisis that we're having, prices are LOWER than EVER. Sometimes I drool over promotional brochures being the tecnho junkie that I am. I don't care for cell phones, but all the rest...
ReplyDeleteI have a Mac and a pc. The pc works fine for the internet (when it doesn't freeze or crash) but I couldn't do without my Mac. So perfect for a creative!
Oh don't tell me that about Macs! I know people love them and they're especially good for arty pursuits, but I'm after a big screen and the Macs are just waaaayyyy beyond my budget.
DeleteOh well, I'm sure whatever I get will be do much better than shat I'm struggling with at the moment :)
I love that time of day with the shadows. You won't know yourself with a new computer... and your very own! A-M xx
ReplyDeleteI admit to being a PC person. We tried the Mac, but I'm most comfortable with the PC. I know I'm in the minority :) Very excited for you!
ReplyDeleteI'm a mac convert too, it doesn't take long to get used to - but I can understand re budget. Garden is a bit grim flower wise at this time of year, although I noticed a few camellia's have started.
