Friday flowers

It seems like an age since I posted Friday flowers.
Here are some beautiful hollyhocks that are currently blooming in the backyard.

This one is now well over 2 metres tall and reminds me of a ballerina's tutu.

I hope you all have a lovely Friday.

  8. gorgeous hollyhocks, double blooms wow, haven't seen them before.
did you know - you can dye with these flowers, really easy peasy...roll some up in a silk bundle, tie it up tight with a couple of rubberbands and steam it above the waterline for about 20 minutes. unwrap the next morning - voila!! really quick and easy, try it. k.
