Fresh peas

I love fresh peas. I've always loved eating raw peas straight from the pod.

These peas are the first ones to make it into the house ( only for a pic - I ate them straight after!). I have even been seen down in the patch early in the morning in my pj's eating them. I just can't help myself.

The fact that I will probably never get to cook any of my crop doesn't bother me at all as nothing beats them raw. They're like cute little vitamin pills.

  3. Excellent contrast of colours, it looks very ffresh. My red currants are starting to ripen now, they don't make it into the house either.

  4. Thanks for your comments. I am amazed how much I am enjoying the vegie patches. I very much doubt any of the strawberries or raspberries will make it inside either - I might have to take the cream out to them!

  5. Oh yum, I bet they are so sweet and there is nothing better than food right out of the garden. And you are so lucky that you will have raspberries in summer, definitely take the cream outside to dunk fruit in : )
