More vintage bits

Here are my latest vintage finds. The gorgeous old paste buckle came from etsy (only about $10), the old wooden thread spools came from the Hobart Tip Shop (only 50c each) and the glass jelly mould came from Willow Court Antiques in New Norfolk ($14).
That's another one of my paperweights below, it's a small Italian latticino paperweight in very pretty colour.

Thanks for your comments about my paperwerights, I will definitely show more from different places around the world in the near future.

  1. Ooooh I love the cotton spools! Are you going to make anything out of them or just have them out on display? They'd look lovely in a nice bowl x

  2. The cotton spools are beautiful, so is the buckle! I have my grandma's old sewing box including all this cool old stuff like cotton spools and buttons on old card etc.
    LOVE IT!

  3. Oh they are lovely and such pretty colours! x

  4. What lovely finds Sarah - love the buckle x

  5. Great finds Sarah, I love those wooden spools I've been on the lookout for some of them. Maybe a trip to the tip shop this weekend! Do you have plans for the buckle? I'm fascinated by your paper weights I've never seen them before they lok beautiful. Have a great weekend!

I love hearing from you - your lovely comments make my day!
