Friday flowers

A big bunch of lovely Iceberg roses from my front yard. I'm displaying them in an old jar, now missing it's lid. Mum used it as a sugar jar for as long as I remember. I thought it was too nice to throw out.

You can see my white china birds in my lovely big glass dome as well as a couple of paperweights from my collection.

Here's to a lovely Friday and hopefully some sunny weather for the weekend (wishful thinking in Tassie?) so I can get out in the garden. What are your plans?
Needless to say, my thoughts are with those poor people who now have to rebuild after CycloneYasi.
xx

  3. The Iceberg rose is so pretty Sarah and especially lovely in your mother's old jar.

Silly me thinking it might be hot in Tassie like everywhere else atm. It's been over 30C here all week and Sunny has had some fun times in her paddling pool. Love to Molly.

  7. I love when it's still Thursday afternoon where I live (crazy time difference between us) and I see this post pop up because it reminds me that Friday and a beautiful weekend are just around the corner.

  8. Can't believe they came from your front yard! I'm jealous. All that comes out of mine is weeds and grass clippings. Enjoy your weekend.

  12. You were right to keep that vase ... it's a stunning shade of blue.

You always capture flowers so perfectly ... I always find myself leaning into the computer screen and studying them more closely!

    Beautiful.
