Summer or winter?

Apparently it's summer...so why am I sitting here with the woodheater on?
Above is a pic of Mt Wellington behind cloud and a lovely rainbow this morning. Piccy taken from my backyard.

Here it is an hour or so later. You can't see it, but it actually has a decent smattering of snow!
Snow in summer, how about that?
My mum is up there bushwalking this morning, so I'll be interested to see what photos she takes.
Well, best get on with it. Have a lovely day, whatever you are up to and keep cool or warm, whatever the case may be!

  4. Lovely photos Sarah - they are stunning. It is sooooo hot here I had to take myself off to a shopping centre, something I haven't done for a while. I also had to buy some new clothes as well didn't I?
This crazy weather certainly has a lot to answer for :) :) !!

  6. I love the rainbow image Sarah - so clever! It is hot and stormy here and I just had to run around and quickly close all of the windows before everything was blown around. ;-)

  7. Snow in summer!! How funny. The weather has been odd lately hasn't it - we had a much cooler overcast day in Perth yesterday which I loved - today it's back up to 34!!

  12. I love that shot with the rainbow Sarah it looks amazing! I thought it was cold walking to work this morning and could have done with a jacket, then I saw the snow and was so unimpressed! Hope you had a good weekend, did you go to your beanie show? I saw it in the paper, very appropriate!

  14. I can't believe that you've had your wood heater on?
Today in Brisbane it was 34.5 degrees and storming with some of the loudest thunder and lightning I've ever heard...crazy isn't it?! I'm starting to look forward to winter...

  16. You captured that rainbow so well Sarah. How crazy is the weather this year!?! Sydney is one minute suffocating in humidity and extreme heat and the next minute verging on being really chilly and raining. Crazy that you have snow!! Hope your Mum enjoyed her walk :)
