Lyndon, Molly and I went for a wander down to the creek this afternoon. Molly gets so excited if anyone says the "w" word.
It's nice for her to be able to run around off the lead.
Look at that happy face! Isn't my girl adorable?
The creek must have been freezing, but Molly went in anyway. It is very difficult to keep her out of water.
Shaking the water off. Not the most flattering photo!
Her legs look very skinny when they're wet. We always have a chuckle at her expense when she looks like this.
We walked past some really interesting old properties on our way home. I'd love to have a snoop. I'm sure they could tell some great stories.
I hope you all had a nice weekend too. Did you do anything fun?
Looks like fish and chips for dinner and a relax in front of the fire watching Downton Abbey on tv. Do you watch it? I adore the dresses they wear :)
xx
I love that show! I'm missing it whilst I'm away! You have to fill me in!
ReplyDeleteMolly is GORGEOUS she looks so cute with her fluffy coat (no doubt edged in frosty ice crystals!) and her little skinny legs!
Oh, a well behaved dog! Reassure me that I might one day have one too. Puppy training is hard. This constant vigilance is exhausting us all.
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing off old properties too. I love those with the rambling, overgrown gardens best.
I'm heading over to tell my TIVO to record Downtown Abbey now. Must catch up on those that I've missed first. Nothing better than a good frocky drama.
I love seeing Molly!
ReplyDeleteAnd that photo of her looks as if she's smiling! Brilliant, gorgeous photos.
Oh sweet Molly...what a lovely dog that is......enjoy your sunday darling....love Ria....xxx.
ReplyDeleteThey do love their walks don't they. I volunteer at the Dog's Home, and I've never met a dog that didn't love getting out and about, even if they are sore or sickly they just love it.
ReplyDeleteCharlie says to say hi to Molly - woof!
ReplyDeleteShe's so lovely Sarah, you can see she loves going for a walk! At least it wasn't quite so cold this weekend, but I think i would have been avoiding the water : )
ReplyDeleteMolly looks extremely happy to be out walking! Our poor dogs got seriously ripped off in the walking department over the weekend- we were more than occupied with moving, cleaning and unpacking, and each time we tried to walk around the block it rained! She is very cute.
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of her shaking the water off! Very cute. I did watch Downton Abbey last night and I can see myself getting caught up in their lives very quickly! Agree, the costumes are beautiful. gxo
ReplyDeleteAsha loves walks where she can run free too :) We can't use the word 'walk' either around her :) I missed the first epsiode of Downton Abbey and have been disappointed ever since I haven't been following but a friend of mine is getting hold of a DVD of the series and I'm going to borrow that x
ReplyDeleteI don't have a dog, but I always find dogs running aroudn on the beach dipping in and out of the water very therapeutic to watch. So thank you for sharing these lovely and warming photographs, just makes me want a foru legged friend of my own so much more - the joy they bring.
ReplyDeleteHow much is Molly enjoying that!! Very gorgeous - especially when she's shaking all that water out. Your photos are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWe spent the weekend indoors keeping warm. :)
Oh, what precious shots, Sarah. I'll have to get the pixies to meet Molly one day - Sam, in particular, is smitten by doggies. J x
ReplyDeleteLooks like my idea of a perfect walk. So cute.
ReplyDeleteAWWWWW! Molly looks SO happy! My Chelsea gets so excited when she hears the W word as well! It looked like a gorgeous walk for you too! X
ReplyDeleteAwww Molly ~ she was having a great time! My dogs love the water too.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of that show.. I will have to look it up.
Have a great week.
molly looks like the coolest dog.....and i love that your doggy is a part of the family.....cool shots lisa xx
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute. Our old newfoundland, Winnie was the same whenever she heard the w word. We used to spell it so as not to disappoint her. Have a great week. Emma.
