fabulous new Spring flowers, this is the Spring forecast showing on the catwalk.
The polyanthus are beautiful.I also feel sorry for flowers that bloom out of season. I wonder why that happens? It's not nice for them when the weather turns nasty again.
What bright additions to your winter garden. Our jonquils have started popping up here. I love that pretty blue flower of yours. Hope the last few days of work pass quickly for you x
Oh, Sarah, our garden is just as confused. Isn't is bizarre, considering how much snow we've had on the Mountain for weeks now? I'd love some of those foxgloves if you're free this weekend! J x
Yes very strange. They are all beautiful though. 12 days...phew, I hope you get a good sleep in at the end of that. xx Katherine
Gorgeous flowers as always even if they are a little confused ;-)I hope you manage to relax and have some down time after 12 days on. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Enjoy your weekend xx
You always post such lovely images of your flowers Sarah. I wonder what your garden looks like from afar? Is it a myriad of differnt colours and flowers or are you very organised with your placings?Hope you get a well deserved rest after your mammouth work stint.x
My garden is just as confused as I am these days!! I seem to be able to plant anything at anytime with success. I'm not really complaining :) :)Have a fab weekend. Pam x
Your beautiful flowers are so cheering because it means spring isn't far off now! Hooray! Are they really called egg and bacon?? I was thinking of how eggs and bacon smell when you mentioned how sweet the flowers themselves smell :) They are such a delicate pretty shade of yellow and cream. Have a good rest! 12 days is just too long! Xoxo
I'm getting used to the predictive text Sarah! My daffs are only just coming through, cheeky wallabies are nibbling them, I had thought they didn't like them! Hope you get some time off 12 days straight doesn't sound like much fun!
Yes my garden is a little confused too! But nice to have some unexpected flowers. Letitia
Gorgeous flowers! I wish it was sping too, so I understand their haste to show themselves! Hope you had a lovely weekend! X
The flowers here don't seem to know whether they're coming or going either! We had a day here on Friday that was absolutely Spring. It gave me hope! Rachaelx
Sarah these are just beautiful! I can imagine how gorgeous your yard is!
May I ask where you acquired the polyanthus? There is a picture of one, labeled Propellers' polyanthus, on Pinterest that I have wanted to add to my garden for some time. I would be most grateful if you could help me in locating a source for this exquisite plant.
I love hearing from you - your lovely comments make my day!
